Advance Exchange

CPW can provide same day or next day shipment of most available items. CPW will ship a refurbished item to any location where a customer has a defective item available for return in 15 days.

CPW Advance Exchange Program Guidelines
Based on our experience, each company participating in the Advance Exchange Program has unique requirements which need to be completely understood and addressed in the program design in order to implement a successful and mutually beneficial support service. In order to realize a successful program implementation it is critical that there is dialogue between our companies so that we can tailor a program that meets or exceeds your service delivery, logistical and financial goals.
We have listed our Advance Exchange Program guidelines below so that you know how our program works and what our requirements are for supporting your advance exchange orders. Please feel free to contact your sales representative or anyone on our management staff if you have questions regarding the program requirements and implementation issues that may be particular to your organization.

Advance Exchange Process

  1. Customer contacts CPW and places an advance exchange order with valid PO # at the agreed-upon advance exchange price.
  2. CPW immediately ships a replacement spare to the requested ship to location with return rma paperwork attached to the product.
  3. Customer field location receives the replacement spare and immediately ships back the core unit in the same box with the return rma paperwork that was provided.
  4. CPW receives core unit back from the customer field location within 15 days and return rma is closed in CPW system.

Advance Exchange Program Rules

    li> Customer must acknowledge core charge price on advance exchange purchase order (the core charge price is the difference between the agreed-upon outright purchase price and the advance exchange price).
  • Customer must return the core unit within 15 days of shipment from Computer Parts Warehouse.
  • Core units must be returned in "as-failed" condition.
  • Any core units returned to Computer Parts Warehouse damaged, cosmetically damaged (ie. large cracks, gross discoloration, etc…) or functionally unrepairable are subject to a core charge or acceptable core replacement.
  • Monitor core returns that require new CRT's (burnt screens, pixel damage, etc…) or flybacks are subject to an additional charge.
